Mahfuz Alam appointed special assistant to chief adviser

Mahfuz Alam has been appointed as special assistant to the Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus, with the status of a secretary, on a contractual basis.
According to a notification of public administration ministry, Mahfuz will remain in office for the duration of the chief adviser’s term or subject to his satisfaction on condition that he would renounce working for other institutions and organisations.
Mahfuz, a student of Dhaka University’s Law Department for 2015-16 academic session, is the coordinator of the liaison committee of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
The gazette notification said his appointment will be effective from the date of his joining.
